Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of plant machinery and power systems during the night shift. Provides technical assistance for installing new equipment and ensures compliance with food safety and OSHA regulations.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in both electrical and mechanical fields. Candidates must possess a documented Electrician's certification and be able to work night shifts and overtime.

JOB SUMMARY: In this role, you will help sustain Mennel’s tradition of excellence established in 1886 as well as support our food safety programs and mission to reliably deliver superior quality, uniformity, and service. This position is responsible for meeting machinery inspection, maintenance, and repair requirements for the assigned shift. Also provides mechanical and electrical technical assistance to install new machinery for Mill applications.
PRIMARY WORK SHIFT:
This position works night shift; 11PM- 7AM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without accommodation.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not have any direct reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, procedures and plans. Ability to write, complete checklists and other basic documentation and correspondence. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Must use solid judgment when making decisions. Must have ability to quickly recognize and plan for changing work duties and events.
