Oversee molding press operations to ensure standard production rates and adherence to quality specifications. Responsible for the safe installation and removal of molds, auxiliaries, and end-of-arm tooling while maintaining accurate production records.
Requires a high school diploma and experience in a plastic manufacturing environment with mechanical aptitude. Proficiency in injection molding, RJG, and the use of machining tools and multimeters is essential.
The Process Technician III is responsible for overseeing that all molding presses are running at standard rates, with correct number of cavities, and that products conform to quality specifications. Assures that all work performed by self or other technicians on all shifts is performed in accordance with established processes, procedures, and practices.
Schedule: 12-hour shift, Monday–Wednesday, 5:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m.; Thursday, 5:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m.; plus weekends as needed.
Sub-Function Description:
The Process Tech III is to remove and install molds, auxiliaries and EOAT (End‑of‑Arm Tooling) safely, efficiently, and repeatably, ensuring all utilities are connected; while maintaining accurate records so production can resume with minimal downtime.
Position Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Knowledge & Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
