The RCP performs routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for chronically and critically ill patients. Additionally, they provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing while maintaining all necessary equipment.
Candidates must be licensed or certified to practice respiratory care in the state and maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications. A high school diploma is required, though an associate degree and one year of clinical experience are preferred.

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order. Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
