The Assistant Shop Manager supports daily operations, team development, and ensures a fast, friendly customer experience. They act as the Manager on Duty to coordinate workflow, maintain safety standards, and provide coaching to team members.
Candidates must have at least 6 months of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment and 6 months of leadership or mentoring experience. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and working in an automotive pit.

At Take 5 Oil Change, leadership happens right on the shop floor. We’re looking for an Assistant Shop Manager who is career-minded, enjoys working with people, takes pride in doing things the right way, and is ready to help lead a fast-paced team.
In this role, you’ll support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and fast, friendly customer experience. You’ll step in as Manager on Duty when needed, helping the team stay focused while keeping the shop safe, efficient, and running smoothly. We provide paid, hands-on training to teach the technical skills and service standards needed to succeed the Take 5 way. Automotive experience is valued, but not required!
