The Assistant Shop Manager oversees daily floor operations, ensures customer satisfaction, and manages staff in the absence of the Shop Manager. They are also responsible for performing oil changes, light vehicle maintenance, and maintaining shop cleanliness.
Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in a shallow pit under vehicles in various weather conditions. Reliable transportation and a positive attitude are required, though previous experience is valued but not mandatory.

At Take 5 Oil Change, leadership happens right on the shop floor. We’re looking for an Assistant Shop Manager who is career-minded, enjoys working with people, takes pride in doing things the right way, and is ready to help lead a fast-paced team.
In this role, you’ll support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and fast, friendly customer experience. You’ll step in as Manager on Duty when needed, helping the team stay focused while keeping the shop safe, efficient, and running smoothly. We provide paid, hands-on training to teach the technical skills and service standards needed to succeed the Take 5 way. Automotive experience is valued, but not required!
