The Mercer Experience Team member serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students and families by facilitating campus tours and managing the admissions front desk. They are also responsible for providing high-quality customer service and staffing various admissions events.
Applicants must be current students at Mercer University and be available to work 4-6 Saturdays per semester. Candidates should be prepared to attend training sessions and maintain a professional demeanor as a representative of the university.

As a member of the Mercer Experience Team, you will serve as one of the first points of contact between Mercer University and prospective students and their families. You will play a key role in Mercer’s Office of Residential Undergraduate Admissions through the following responsibilities:

Admissions events may include Discover Mercer, Make It Mercer!, Saturday Visits, Scholarship Events, etc. Students that are interested in this role should be prepared to work anywhere from 4-6 Saturdays per semester in addition to potential weekly shift(s) and training sessions.
If you love being a Bear and want to share that love with others, this is a great opportunity for you. This is an hourly paid position starting at $10/hr.

Interviews will take place the first and second week of September, with a tentative hire date of 9/8/26. Seven weeks of paid training would begin tentatively on 9/14/26, and students are added to the shift rotation based on availability once training is complete.
