The Imaging Nurse provides pre, intra, and post-procedure care across various radiology modalities, including complex invasive neuro and peripheral interventions. Responsibilities include administering conscious sedation, managing IV access, and collaborating with radiologists to plan patient care.
Requires a nursing degree (BSN preferred) and current Florida RN licensure along with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Experience in critical care settings such as ICU, ED, or Cath Lab is preferred, and the candidate must be available for on-call duties.

The Imaging Nurse is available to assist all the modalities in Radiology: Interventional Radiology, CT, MRI, X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound. The RN has a responsibility to act as educator to their peers, patients, and their families. All aspects of the RN performance supports service excellence and a healing environment.

This job can be physically demanding at times requiring stooping, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time. The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, making sound decisions, detail oriented, alert and self-motivated. Ability to push/pull up to 40lbs, carry and lift up to 50lbs.
