The Clinical Therapist provides evaluation and treatment of patients with behavioral health disorders in collaboration with a Physician or licensed Psychologist. Responsibilities include administering psychotherapeutic treatments, performing psychosocial assessments, and documenting patient care information.
A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family is required, along with 2 years of social services work experience. Candidates must also hold a valid license as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist.
At Franciscan Health, the Clinical Therapist holds the valuable role of providing evaluation and treatment of patients in collaboration with a Physician or licensed Psychologist. This specialized therapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients with behavioral health disorders and/or dual diagnoses. In addition, the Clinical Therapist will provide information and counseling to patients and family members, and utilize individual, group, and family therapy.
