The Training and Quality Specialist will be responsible with planning, creating and executing training programs throughout all phases for the maximum effectiveness in meeting strategic goals and achieving superior customer service results. Partner with management to assess current and future training needs, work collaboratively to ensure understanding of performance needs, requirements and expectations. Conduct ongoing training on products, systems and other procedures.
Responsibilities
Effectively develop and deliver practical, timely and innovative training programs and resources that demonstrably enhance the productivity and deepen the skill set, functional expertise, and capabilities of the Operations staff.
Responsible for conducting ongoing quality control review of work product for all Operations staff.
Provide support with employee introductory period: the formulation of training plans, perform quality control audits, and write 30/60/90 evaluations in partnership with management.
Continually complete needs analysis of the department’s training requests. Communicate with all Managers/Supervisors, as necessary, to ensure needs are being met and training remains current.
Coordinate training sessions with employee’s managers, IT department (when necessary), schedule conference rooms and equipment required for formal, effective training sessions.
Document and assist with developing department policies, procedures, training manuals, and handouts to ensure that the resources are delivered effectively to staff.
Keep up with developments in area of expertise by reading current journals, books and magazine articles.
Assist with resolution of complex problems and support staff resolving system or procedural issues, as directed.
Process all other duties as assigned by department management.
Qualifications
Education
College preferred
LOMA-ACS designation preferred
Experience/Knowledge
3+ years of training and development experience (designing, developing, and presenting adult learning philosophies) or similar position.
Experience with change management, organizational development, performance management, talent management and learning & development.
Knowledge of life insurance products and concepts preferred.

Ability to convey complex information in a timely and easily understood manner to participants

What’s in it for you?
The expected hiring compensation range for this position is $61,300 - $84,250 annually.
The total compensation package for this position may include other elements, such as a sign-on bonus, long term incentives, and annual bonuses. This role is eligible to participate in the Annual Incentive Plan. The current target payment for the position is 8% of base salary, modified for corporate and individual performance. Bonuses are pro-rated based on start date. This role has 15 vacation days and 10 sick days that are accrued on a bi-weekly basis. Employees also have 9 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
