The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients while maintaining accountability for the quality of care delivered. They provide leadership, mentor staff, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
Candidates must hold a current Pennsylvania RN license or a multi-state license through the eNLC. Additional requirements include CPR certification and the completion of mandatory criminal and child abuse background clearances.
The Registered Nurse assesses human responses and plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for individuals or families for whom the nurse is responsible. The Registered Nurse is fully responsible for all actions as a licensed nurse and is accountable to patients for the quality of care delivered.
