The Phlebotomist is responsible for performing venipuncture and capillary blood draws while ensuring accurate patient identification and specimen labeling. They must also process incoming specimens and maintain detailed records in accordance with safety and confidentiality protocols.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have recent phlebotomy experience within the past year. Applicants must also be able to meet VA credentialing requirements, including proof of immunizations and a negative TB test.

The Phlebotomist provides venipuncture and specimen collection services for inpatients and outpatients, ensuring positive patient identification and adherence to the highest standards of accuracy and patient safety.
