YOUR ROLE
We're looking for a Depot Manager to take full responsibility for the leadership and performance of one of our key operations in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a transport operation, where you'll ensure operational excellence, build strong customer relationships and create a culture where safety, performance and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything you do.
Playing a pivotal role in the growth of our services in the Southwest, supporting the opportunities that are identified, through to the delivery and execution. This role will also support our Exeter Depot both remotely and through monthly site visits and regular interaction.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation, ensuring legal compliance while delivering outstanding service to our customers.
Own the site's operational and financial performance, ensuring commercial objectives, budgets and KPIs are consistently achieved.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, productivity, quality and customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, becoming a trusted partner while identifying opportunities for organic business growth.
Develop and deliver operational strategies that support both customer and CEVA objectives.
Lead, coach and develop a team of managers, creating succession plans and building a strong leadership pipeline
Ensure the transport operation remains compliant with all legal, regulatory and internal audit requirements.
Produce operational reports, analyse performance data and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
A CPC qualification and knowledge is essential, we're looking for an inspirational leader who combines operational expertise with strong commercial awareness, including oversight of a P&L and exceptional people leadership. You'll have proven experience leading teams within transport, with a successful track record of managing and developing high-performing leadership teams.
