Position Summary
The Corporate Development Manager is responsible for supporting Agilysys' long-term growth strategy through pricing optimization, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate development initiatives. This role combines financial analysis, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to evaluate business opportunities, drive informed decision-making, and help maximize shareholder value. The position partners closely with Product Management, Sales, Operations, Finance, and executive leadership to influence key business strategies and initiatives

The role serves as a key bridge between data-driven analysis and business execution, ensuring that growth initiatives align with company objectives and create long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial and strategic analyses to support corporate development initiatives, investments, potential acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
Develop financial models, valuation analyses, and business cases to support executive decision-making.
Partner with Product Management, Sales, and leadership teams to develop, evaluate, and implement pricing strategies.
Collaborate with Operations and other internal stakeholders to ensure pricing recommendations can be effectively executed.
Support multi-year planning, forecasting, and strategic business planning processes.
Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging market opportunities to identify areas for growth.
Identify and evaluate acquisition targets, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities.
Lead and coordinate due diligence activities across functional teams including Finance, Legal, HR, Operations, and Engineering.
Support merger integration planning and execution to ensure successful realization of business objectives.
Develop and maintain relationships with external advisors, investment bankers, consultants, and industry partners.
Prepare executive-level presentations, analyses, and recommendations for senior leadership. Based on the role's required communication and presentation responsibilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Strategy Consulting, Accounting, or a related analytical field.
Experience supporting strategic planning, pricing initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, or corporate growth initiatives preferred. Based on responsibilities outlined for the role.
Demonstrated experience building complex financial models and conducting business analysis.
