The Conductor/Engineer is responsible for the safe operation of locomotives and the proper placement, assembly, and disassembly of trains. This includes monitoring gauges, inspecting equipment for FRA compliance, and communicating with dispatchers and crews via radio.
Candidates should ideally have over 3 years of experience as a qualified Engineer and Conductor, a GED or higher, and a valid driver's license. Applicants must pass a drug test, physical examination, and background check to ensure safety and integrity.
