The Heavy Automotive Fitter will assemble, fit, service, and maintain prefabricated components for transport and concrete equipment. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and welding/fabrication tasks to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Candidates must possess a minimum Trade or National Certificate in Welding, Engineering, or a similar field. Solid fitting experience in the heavy automotive industry and proficiency in MIG welding are required.
Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Heavy Automotive Fitter to join our Auckland workshop in Wiri. You’ll work on a diverse range of equipment, including concrete mixers, tail lifts, hook loaders and specialist hydraulic equipment, with no two days quite the same.

You will be assembling, fitting, servicing, and maintaining prefabricated components in our own workshop. As a Heavy Automotive Fitter, you’ll be responsible for:
