Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing process equipment including robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers. Execute preventative maintenance and lead lean initiatives to optimize production uptime and efficiency.
Requires a technical degree or apprenticeship with a Journeyman's license or 8+ years of experience as a maintenance technician. Must possess strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems and be able to work off-shift hours.
Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Grand Rapids, MI on a full-time basis.
Technical Operations Specialist (TOS) - supports production in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and problem solving manufacturing process equipment. Candidate must be able to function in a manufacturing maintenance team culture, where lean manufacturing principles are highly integrated. Candidate must be able to work independently under general direction of a supervisor. Work is performed in a manufacturing facility where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is needed, as well as a high level of independent judgement.
The primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:
Electrical Journeyman’s license
Mechanical Journeyman’s license8 + years as maintenance technician / electrician technician
