Supporting our Federal Government client, you'll play a vital role in coordinating emergency management functions across a diverse portfolio of owned properties and leased premises. Your role involves partnering with stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service, managing contractor performance, and serving as a key point of contact for emergency management matters. You'll also support the implementation of property risk management programs, ensure compliance with WH&S, environmental, and risk management policies, and maintain accurate records in property and compliance databases. An Overview of the role:

• Coordinate emergency management services as delegated by the Emergency Management Facilities Manager, resolving on-site difficulties promptly with minimum disruption to business-as-usual activities

• Manage contractor performance and work collaboratively with service providers to handle escalations related to client complaints, ensuring works are completed efficiently and to required standards

• Deliver excellent customer service as the primary point of contact for emergency management matters, proactively engaging stakeholders and building effective relationships across client entities

• Ensure compliance with all WH&S, environmental, and risk management policies and procedures, following established escalation and incident reporting procedures while assisting in property risk management program implementation

• Complete, update, and maintain web-based management information systems, uploading property documentation and ensuring data accuracy to facilitate timely payment processing

• Australian Citizenship (mandatory requirement) with strong administration and communication skills, demonstrating a customer service focus and keen attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently within tight operational deadlines while working with minimal supervision and quickly grasping new concepts

• Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and internet research tools

• Self-motivated, confident, and able to adapt to rapidly changing situations with efficient keyboard and data entry skills

• Prior experience in facilities management, property management, hospitality, or a related field preferred, along with knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements and critical facilities management
