The driver will operate Scania A Double side tippers to haul coal between the Tarrawonga mine and the processing plant. Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, completing daily paperwork, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Candidates must hold a current MC Driver’s License and be able to provide an RMS driving record. Applicants are expected to live within a 1-hour commute of the Gunnedah site and be available for rotating day and afternoon shifts.

About The Role
Gunnedah Basin Haulage is a fully owned subsidiary of Whitehaven Coal and we currently have new permanent vacancies for truck drivers to join our crew. You will be hauling coal to and from our Tarrawonga mine and our Coal Handling and Processing Plant (CHPP) in Gunnedah, a distance of approx. 40kms. We require MC Drivers to join our operation just outside of Gunnedah. These are residential positions, working rotating morning and afternoon from Monday to Friday with the requirement to work every second Saturday.
