The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for safely sampling and testing aggregate materials to ensure they meet prescribed standards and specifications. They also maintain laboratory equipment, record test data, and assist in resolving customer technical issues.
Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for two years of quality control experience in an aggregate or construction environment. A technical degree and state certification for aggregate field and laboratory testing are also preferred.
Martin Marietta is seeking a QC Technician to join our team. The ideal individual will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently sampling and performing routine laboratory testing of aggregate material under the supervision of the Site Manager or other designated personnel. The QC Technician will ensure that all products are consistent with prescribed standards and specifications. This position requires travel from the quarry to other locations. Hours are 6 am - 4 pm including weekends and overtime as necessary.
