The forklift driver is responsible for moving, loading, and unloading palletized units using a stand-up reach forklift while maintaining accurate inventory records via an RF system. The role also involves performing daily equipment maintenance and ensuring all safety procedures are followed in both cold and dry storage environments.
Candidates must possess basic math skills and the ability to work in extreme temperature conditions ranging from -20 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The role requires the physical ability to lift at least 40 lbs and the flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends.
