The Facility Helper supports the Building Engineering team by performing routine maintenance, preventive repairs, and building inspections. They also assist with tenant service requests, inventory management, and ensuring site safety and operational compliance.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in maintenance, janitorial, or construction fields. A strong work ethic, basic knowledge of hand tools, and the ability to follow safety procedures are required.
The Facility Helper supports the Building Engineering team in maintaining the safe, clean, and efficient operation of commercial building systems and facilities. This entry-level position assists with routine maintenance tasks, preventive maintenance activities, building inspections, vendor coordination, and general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and committed to providing excellent service to tenants and building occupants.
The Facilities Helper also assists with documenting and implementing site safety plans and ensures all work follows ABM Engineering Services’ operational standards, guidelines, and site‑specific policies and procedures.
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. An offer will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
