Position
Team Leads are workers who have a high degree of technical proficiency in their jobs, who serve as intermediaries between their supervisor and employees. Team leaders serve as mentors and trainers for their work area. With this dual role, the job description(s) of the jobs in the area also apply to the Team Lead.
Responsibilities
Provide direction and scheduling to team members in their daily activities.
Assign work, give directions, and monitor work progress.
Handle product movement and dispatch coordination.
Effectively communicate needs, priorities, and issues to the Supervisor, relevant departments, logistics, engineering, and production management, including those on different shifts.
Promote flow and pull of products and information to internal and ultimately external customers.
Identify, investigate, and resolve issues.
Train and orient new employees on company standards and procedures.
Implement 5S tools and reduce variation in the work environment.
Use and develop visual systems so that no problems are hidden. Actively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior.
Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each employee and provide constructive feedback.

Working Conditions
While performing the typical duties of this job, employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment.
