Responsible for the replacement of substation plant, equipment, and associated cabling to ensure safe and high-quality network upgrades. The role involves installing containment and wiring while progressing toward Authorised Person status under DNO Safety Rules.
Requires a minimum of 2 years of practical craft skills experience with hand tools and basic knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems. A full driving licence and site safety passport are required, with DNO HV fitting experience being desirable.

Freedom Networks are currently recruiting Fitters/ wireman to be part of a team undertaking asset replacement works supporting the upgrade and replacement of substation equipment in a manner that delivers safe, high workmanship quality and fit for purpose networks for our DNO customers, and which promotes the company in a positive light at all times.
