The Second Cook is responsible for preparing starch and vegetable items for the dinner menu and assisting the First Cook with overall production. Key duties include following recipes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and managing breakfast and dessert stations.
Candidates must have a current Food Safe certification and the ability to work a 3-week on/3-week off rotation in a remote Nunavut camp. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and passing a criminal background check and drug test are required.

The Second Cook contributes to the overall success of the Culinary team. Involved in preparing the dinner menu, the Second Cook is responsible for all starch and vegetable items required for the menu. The Second Cook will work with the First Cook to ensure that all product meets quality standards as set out by Culinary leadership.
This posting is not for an active vacancy. It is intended to build a pool of qualified candidates for potential future opportunities
2nd Cooks work on a rotational schedule of 3 weeks on/3 weeks off. Site location is in a remote camp setting in Nunavut. You may be required to work nights, weekdays, weekends, and general holidays. Wages are paid on an hourly basis with a starting rate of $20.00/hour
