We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Entry-Level Redeployment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a natural aptitude for problem-solving, a keen interest in technology, and a readiness for hands-on, in-person training and work. You will be responsible for receiving and prepping various hardware for redeployment, including handheld devices, terminals, scanners, servers, laptops, printers, cash drawers, and security components, in a fast-paced environment that requires meticulous attention to detail and a professional demeanor.
Receive material into stock following company and customer standards.
Identify the manufacturer model numbers of used equipment.
Triage customer hardware for redeployment, ensuring condition and functionality meet specified requirements.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with customer hardware.
Clean and package equipment for redeployment.
Adhere to customer contracts for warranty, third-party, or internal repairs.
Process RMA, warranty, and disposal orders.
Perform repairs and maintenance of equipment and parts according to contracts.
Maintain accurate inventory and triage records as per company and customer expectations.
Communicate effectively with management regarding customer equipment and needs.
Handle devices safely to prevent damage during repair and processing.
Follow safety guidelines for the depot repair area.
Assist in maintaining the depot repair area.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned by management.
Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and collaborate across departments.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
