Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to meet project requirements. This role serves as the main liaison for coordinating efforts across various teams, ensuring that application solutions align with business needs. The position requires overseeing the progress of development activities, troubleshooting challenges, and continuously refining application features to enhance performance and user experience. Collaboration and communication are key components throughout the day, as the engineer guides the project from conception through deployment while maintaining alignment with organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of application development tasks to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to enhance team productivity and product quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Pega Platform.
- Strong knowledge of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
- Experience in configuring and customizing software applications to meet specific business needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the platform environment.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and working with multiple teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Pega Platform.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
