The job
We are seeking a Cloud Developer to join the AVEVA Unified Supply Chain R&D team, where you will play a key role in developing and evolving vital infrastructure that supports key customer workflows. You will work as part of an enthusiastic and engaged development team to build robust and reliable solutions.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate closely in a team environment to deliver high quality improvements to existing infrastructure platform
Contribute to design of infrastructure improvements, balancing robust technical solutions with business value
Diagnose and fix issues affecting production infrastructure, supported by experienced colleagues
Proactively identify and communicate technical issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Essential requirements
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) development
Proficiency in scripting with Powershell or similar
Experience and understanding of core Azure services: compute, storage, security, monitoring and diagnostics
A proactive self-starting approach, owning work through to production
Strong communication and collaboration skills
