About the role:
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) within the Ops Engineering team at bsport, you will be responsible for two main areas:
- Internal Products:
Oversee and drive the development of internal tools and platforms that address the needs of various departments — from Sales to Customer Success Management (CSM) — ensuring that our internal stakeholders have the best possible solutions to operate efficiently.
- Cross-Functional Projects:
Lead and coordinate a portfolio of transversal projects owned by the Ops Engineering team, in close collaboration with other Product Engineering teams. You will play a key role in bridging gaps between teams, aligning priorities, and ensuring smooth delivery across functions.
Your strong understanding of technology will help you identify inefficiencies across the organization and propose innovative, practical solutions to resolve them. You’ll also continuously seek opportunities to enhance team productivity and streamline processes.
You will be supported by a fully staffed engineering team of 6, including the Engineering Manager, who will partner with you to successfully deliver on these initiatives.
Translate process friction into clear technical deliverables, ensuring alignment between business goals and engineering capacity.
Transform risky process into successful internal product
You will take advantage of extremely fast feedback loop from ideation to deployment
Collaborate with top leadership of every department, understand their internal needs and be a strong driver for change in the company.
Own project delivery: Lead planning, scoping, and execution of cross-functional initiatives across engineering, CSM, sales, marketing.
Own functional KPIs of the projects you will work on, define success metrics, business impacts and follow-up on those in collaboration with non-engineering teams.
Process & coordination: participate to sprints, roadmaps, retrospectives to keep projects on track in a fast-paced startup environment.
Optimize internal operations via a dedicated software engineering team
Risk management: Anticipate blockers, manage dependencies, and proactively propose solutions to keep delivery on time and within scope.
Stakeholder communication: Provide transparent status updates, timelines, and reports to leadership and team members.
Quality & scalability: Champion best practices in technical project management, ensuring projects scale efficiently as the company grows.
2-4 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Program Manager, Product Manager, or similar role in a consultancy or software startup.
Technical fluency - able to understand APIs, integrations, and development workflows (no need to code, but comfortable speaking the language of engineers).
Affinity with UX, without it being your first area of work.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into clear business updates.
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset: you see problems early and mobilize the right people to solve them.
Experience in vertical SaaS or B2B SMB products.
Exposure to AI/ML or data-driven product development.
Certifications (PMP, CSM, or similar) are a plus, but not required.
