The attorney will provide legal assistance for humanitarian-based immigration matters, including removal defense and asylum cases. Additionally, they will conduct community outreach, lead know-your-rights trainings, and assist with grant reporting.
Applicants must be law school graduates; new graduates and experienced lawyers are both eligible. Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole and prior experience in immigration law are strongly preferred.

The attorney will engage in community outreach, including community consultation sessions and know-your-rights trainings, and will assist in the preparation of periodic grant reports. The position is in CWJC's Worcester office.
