The teacher is responsible for providing professional instruction and creating an educational environment conducive to learning during the Fall Break Learning Academy. They must manage classroom behavior, assess student progress, and prepare instructional materials tailored to individual student needs.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a valid Tennessee teaching certificate with an endorsement in the relevant grade or subject. A commitment to the entire duration of the fall school program and attendance at all planning sessions are mandatory.
Serves as primary contact for staff, students, parents and the public at the fall break school site. Welcomes and assists everyone who enters the fall school site and directs them to the appropriate staff. Supports the fall school site by performing general office and routine clerical duties.
Graduation from High School or GED. Two (2) years of clerical experience preferred.
The following special conditions are required: Commitment for the entire period of fall break. Attendance at ALL periodic administrative meetings. Availability prior to the end of the regular school assignment to participate in fall school setup and preparation. Availability for fall school closeout.
