The Occupational Therapist will conduct clinical assessments and treatments for physical and neurological conditions to support independent living. Key tasks include prescribing assistive equipment and performing home modifications to minimize fall risks for aged care clients.
Candidates must be AHPRA registered with a relevant qualification and possess a valid Queensland driver's licence and NDIS Worker Screening Check. Required certifications include First Aid, CPR, and a current Police Screening Certificate.

As an Allied Health Professional, you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. This is a great opportunity to work across a wide range of client bases - from needing help with basic equipment, through to home modifications to assist our clients to stay safe in their homes and live as independently as possible. Your tasks will include:
Clinical assessments and treatment of physical and neurological conditions
Assessment and prescription of aids and equipment to improve independent living skills e.g. hoists, mobile commode, wheelchairs
Environmental assessments and home modifications to minimise the risk of falls and improve access
Assessment of clients' mobility and control when moving in their environments
