Our Essilor team in Henderson is looking for an Optical Worker or Mechanic with experience in Optical Edging and Fitting, QC and Optical Tinting. With a total focus on providing our customers with the best possible experience we are looking for a confident and dedicated person who is committed to producing quality products - first time, every time.

We’re looking for someone who is a positive team player, self-motivated, and brings a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Your Responsibilities

• Accurately mark up and block optical lenses to meet customer and production requirements
• Perform precision edging of optical lenses across a range of lens types
• Fit lenses into a variety of frame styles, including rimless, nylon, shell and metal frames
• Complete optical tinting processes to achieve high-quality finishes
• Conduct final quality checks to ensure all completed jobs meet our high standards
• Perform pre-quality control checks and trace a wide range of frame types
• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver quality products efficiently and consistently

About You 

• Fine motor skills and ability to handle individual lenses carefully throughout the coating process
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• High attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, proactive, enthusiastic!
