The Warehouse Specialist performs warehousing duties including verifying materials, managing storage, and maintaining inventory. They are responsible for establishing and maintaining government property accountability in accordance with DoD and Army regulations.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 10 years of warehouse support experience. An active secret clearance is required, along with experience in government property accountability and barcode scanning.
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a cleared fulltime Warehouse Specialist who can assist with Government Property Accountability for onsite support of an Army Project Office at Fort Belvoir, VA.
Responsibilities:
As directed, the Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. Help establish and maintain government property accountability in accordance with DoD and Army regulations. This worker may operate hand, power trucks and forklifts in performing warehousing duties. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
