We're looking for a Senior Engineer who cares deeply about engineering craft, architecture, works fluently across the stack, and wants to build systems where the quality of motion data directly determines what's possible downstream, whether that's a character animation in a game engine, a robot learning to manipulate objects, or a clinician analysing movement.
You'll work across our software stack, from the device driver layer to customer-facing applications, enabling our users to harness their motion in their workflows.
🔥What’s the role about
Create tools, pipelines, and techniques for processing and delivering motion capture data and realistic animation across entertainment, robotics, and developer-facing applications.
Write efficient, well-structured code and take ownership of architecture decisions.
Debug and optimise existing motion processing and animation code to improve performance, latency, and usability.
Build and maintain customer-facing web applications that deliver motion data to external pipelines.
Understand and use mathematical tools to animate characters and objects within our platform.
Test motion interfaces and systems, and resolve bugs across the stack.
Stay current with industry trends in animation, robotics, and AI-assisted development tools, and use those tools fluidly and responsibly as part of your workflow.
🕵️ Who we are looking for
You have a strong understanding of 3D math and algorithms: quaternions, skeletal hierarchies, rigid body kinematics.
You are proficient in C# and/or C++, as well as scripting languages like Python.
You have experience with real-time data streaming over networked protocols.
You are comfortable working across the stack, from low-level driver or protocol work to web-facing tooling.
You have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
You have strong written and spoken English.
You are able to work collaboratively across multiple locations.

Familiarity with inertial sensor data: IMU output, quaternion integration, or sparse sensor fusion is a plus.
Knowledge of physics-based animation or biomechanical modelling.
Familiarity with motion capture data and techniques.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Animation, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
