Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders through polysomnography and diagnostic services. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating equipment, scoring events per AASM guidelines, and documenting technical reports for physicians.
Requires a high school diploma and certification as an RPSGT, RST, or a Licensed Respiratory Therapist with an SDS credential. BLS certification is required before patient care, and one year of experience in neurophysiology or sleep medicine is preferred.
Registered Polysomnography Tech - Sleep Lab - Howland Sleep Center (PRN)
The Registered Polysomnography Tech (RPSGT or RST) works under the supervision of the Sleep Center leadership team to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This involves polysomnography, diagnostic, and therapeutic services regarding patient care or education.

BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, required before patient care)
Polysomnography State Licensure if applicable based upon state of practice (preferred)

Must have one of the following (required):
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
At least one year of previous experience in neurophysiology or sleep disorders medicine (preferred)
Individuals in this position are required to exercise universal precautions, use personal protective equipment and devices, and learn the policies concerning infection control.
