The Accounting Manager leads the corporate accounting team and manages the end-to-end month-end close process while ensuring compliance with GAAP and federal regulations. This role also provides financial analysis for strategic planning and oversees the maintenance of accounting systems and internal controls.
Candidates must have at least five years of progressive experience leading diverse accounting teams and managing financial systems. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required, with strong knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, and ASC 842.

Job Scope: Critical accounting role with key responsibilities for end-to-end management of the month-end close process, strategic communication with business leadership, maintenance of accounting systems and to keep accounting records timely and accurate. Reports directly to the VP Corporate Controller.
Required Skills and Experience:
Five years of progressive experience hiring and leading a diverse team in an Accounting department managing accounting transactions and systems and creating financial reporting for review by senior leadership with relevant experience (industry or size) is required. Must possess a strong knowledge and appreciation of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in the United States, including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Leases). Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as knowledge of Oracle (knowledge of FloQast and Workiva Wdesk is helpful). Supports various groups within Finance and Accounting and other operational groups to ensure that communications between groups are effective and that appropriate data and accounting information are provided for reporting purposes. Must have the ability to drive process and system enhancements and support of quarterly audit and internal compliance and controls. Must have proven ability to collaborate with others to understand and complete project goals. Must have excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills and be able to professionally interact with employees at all levels of the company. Must be an innovative thinker and driver of change and process excellence. Must have excellent time management and decision-making skills and be able to prioritize and organize tasks and projects. Must have strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing timelines effectively. Must have proven ability to identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to complex problems. Must be able to pay attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and works effectively and collaboratively across various departments to meet goals and deadlines.
