The Materials Specialist ensures on-time shipping and distribution of materials to manufacturing areas while resolving material issues to prevent production delays. They are responsible for inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and coordinating engineering change notices to minimize scrap and obsolete inventory.
Requires 2-4 years of relevant experience in materials or inventory management and an Associate Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field. APICS Certification is preferred.

Your opportunity:
The Materials Specialist supports sales objectives by ensuring on-time shipping and timely distribution of materials/parts to manufacturing areas across the organization, coordinating with manufacturing personnel to identify and resolve material issues, and executing the receipt of purchased and manufactured parts and materials.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
