About the Team:
The Facilities team ensures that every operation across the site is “go” at all times, supporting everything from power and utilities to highly specialized machines like industrial 3D printers. Our 1 million square foot headquarters is complex: one structure, but functionally 20 mini factories under one roof. That complexity brings unmatched opportunities to grow your skills through cross-training and ownership of specialized systems. With rapid expansion and development of the facility, we’re helping build a truly state-of-the-art work environment. This team is deeply embedded in both planning and execution, brought in early to shape the physical assets that will support scaled operations.
About the Role:
Respond to and resolve facilities tickets within 2 days which could include high quality drywall repair, patch and paint, furniture builds, tv mounting, wall framing, high level finish work or other repairs
Maintain general consumable stock items
Organize and maintain equipment
Maintain general site surroundings and facilities
Moves materials through use of equipment moving machinery such as hand trucks, forklifts, and golf carts
Provides recommendations for facilities improvements
Perform other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management
This is a first-shift position with which consists of an 8-hour standard workday, Monday through Friday and may include overtime. Shift start and end times may vary due to business needs, but are typically between 5:00am and 5:00pm.
About You:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with heavy equipment (forklift, reach-lift, man-lift, etc.)
5+ years of relevant experience in high-end, high-quality repairs
Ability to provide before and after photos of relevant prior work
Reliable transportation and the ability to complete assigned shifts
Ability to lift and manipulate 50 pounds
Ability to work from heights and on ladders as well as squatting, stooping and/or kneeling with a tool belt
Flexible schedule and ability to work non-standard shifts, overtime, and weekends as required
Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position.
Periodic or frequent work in extreme outdoor environments: heat, cold, wind, rain
Valid California state driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
Willingness and ability to pass in-house Forklift certification, required
Nice to haves but not required:
5 years of work experience at the journeyman level or higher
Specialized certifications in maintenance or repair industry
Experience as a mechanic or carpenter
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve electrical, mechanical, and/or plumbing systems
