• Ensuring facilities has current and complete documentation to support processes. • Identify and expedite opportunities to build efficiency and consistency across facility. • Monitor and ensure compliance with programs including, but not limited to: o SOPs on key processes o Regulatory Authorities’ codes and standards o PM programs on equipment o Risk Grids • Review overall staffing requirements related to the facility and make staffing recommendations to support changing demand. • Conduct and/or provide oversight for regular inspections of all Pioneer facilities, discuss findings with the site management and work with site leadership to develop appropriate action plans. • Establish and maintain effective, consistent, measurable, and auditable protocols for the following plant operations: manufacturing, performance testing, compliance with all regulatory bodies, vendor certification, and inbound inspections of raw materials. • Coordinate cross-functional support and resources to ensure the Indianapolis facility operates effectively. • Develop KPIs that enable data-driven decisions and ongoing quality and compliance improvement.
Key Job Duties: • Follow all Pioneer Safety and Quality procedures and regulations. • Perform safety briefings with the workforce and resolve all safety related concerns at the facility. • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization and overall facility appearance. • Serve as the primary quality point of contact and information resource for the facility. • Organize and assist with on-site and off-site customer visits as needed. • Lead initiatives at the facility to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. • Responsible for setting process and quality standards to maintain a safe and quality-oriented culture. • Manage, prioritize, and delegate daily production assignments • Oversee accurate documentation of work performed and timely submission of paperwork for invoicing. • Administer payroll and HR functions to support smooth and effective branch operations. • Ensure employees are trained on SOPs, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and best practices. • Assist in planning for capital projects or operational changes and expansions. • Leverage analytical skillset to support and track initiatives. • Establish new KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of procedural and equipment changes. • Collaborate with sales teams to manage, investigate, and resolve customer complaints. Track processes to monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions. • Support the supply chain team and commercial department as needed • Operate motor vehicles and equipment as needed Skill/Experience Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, related technical field, or an equivalent work history. • Working knowledge of ASME, API, DOT, NBIC, and federal/state/local Regulations and codes. • Demonstrates ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to Pioneer Industrial operations. • Exhibits ability to interpret quality audits, test results and define/communicate corrective actions needed. • Demonstrates ability to work at all levels of the Pioneer organization to influence leaders. • Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Strong work ethic with excellent interpersonal skills. • 15% domestic travel
