The Materials Specialist is responsible for ensuring an uninterrupted supply of materials by managing ordering, availability, and scheduling to meet inventory targets. They will also conduct root-cause investigations for shortages and collaborate with suppliers to optimize planning and resolve material issues.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and possess at least two years of experience in material management or production scheduling. Proficiency in computer systems and strong problem-solving skills are required, with preference given to those with APICS certification and Oracle experience.
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree & 2 years of material experience or production scheduling Computer proficiency Bilingual
Preferred Qualifications:
APICS Certification Oracle knowledge and experience Six Sigma Green Belt Working knowledge of MRP Excellent Interpersonal Skills Strong problem-solving skills
