Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Support of ingot production activities with assistance to product realization and overseeing day to day operational aspect of ingot manufacturing operations. And focus on process and production improvement.
Ingot production processes periodically reviewed and documentations updated after discussions held and inputs obtained from other team members.
Production process problems affecting the yields are identified and corrective action ideas presented to Department Manager as potential projects for process improvement with supporting data to identify root causes and developing corrective actions.
Address customer complaints and quality issues, and be actively involved in research and development effort of our thermoelectric material properties, processes, responsible from update of various ingot material properties related databases
Directly interact and supervise ingot production personal on daily basis to address production related problems to maintain and improve ingot manufacturing yields without comprise on quality and cost of products
Participates in and occasionally leads training opportunities, for Engineering Community as well as to learn other skills in relation to applications of thermoelectric materials.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science Engineering field with emphasis on process physics and/or process chemistry. Other educational backgrounds may be considered if they are directly related to thermoelectric material production and processes
Master’s degree in above mentioned majors or related majors is strongly preferred
5+ years of experience in manufacturing industry, dealing with process development or process improvement activities
Experience working with processing of metal, metal or ceramic powders in laboratory or industrial foundry setting is preferred.

Ability to work with minimum supervision and to manage assigned tasks and projects effectively.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex materials and thermoelectric-related problems and research solutions in the public domain as well as creating/ developing innovative solutions
Ability to leverage knowledge and experience and apply it to solve problems resourcefully
Effectively manages multiple priorities and projects
Ability to teach and train others within work group
Ability to work, teach and learn in cross-organizational teams
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Proficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access database, Email, internet access and the ability to develop tools and/or special applications within these packages.
Demonstrates a high standard of ethics, professionalism, competency, and quality
Working Conditions
Good working conditions. Occasional exposure to noise, dust, heat, etc. Some element present which makes conditions less desirable than usually found in an office.
