The operator is responsible for loading and unloading parts on the burn table, adjusting settings, and monitoring the cutting process. They must also perform quality inspections, maintain the workspace, and assist with material handling using cranes or forklifts.
Candidates must have prior experience with burn tables or equivalent technical schooling and the ability to read blueprints and written instructions. Physical capability to lift heavy components and the ability to work the 2nd shift in a non-climate-controlled environment are required.
