The Facilities Mechanic is responsible for the safe operation, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within a cGMP pharmaceutical facility. They must document all work in the CMMS, manage vendor partners, and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Candidates must have 5-8 years of experience as a facilities mechanic or MEP specialist, with strong proficiency in industrial equipment maintenance. Experience in a biopharma or cGMP environment and familiarity with Building Automation Systems are strongly preferred.

The successful candidate will serve as a Sharp Facilities Mechanic, supporting a multi-building pharmaceutical packaging facility / cGMP environment in Allentown, PA. The Facilities Mechanic will report to the Manager, Facilities – Hard Services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5-8 years of experience as a facilities mechanic, or as a specialist within the MEP trades, is required.
• Biopharma experience in a cGMP environment is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with BAS equipment and controls is preferred.
• Well-versed in the preventive, predictive & corrective maintenance and operation of industrial and commercial equipment, especially HVAC.
