Are you an experienced Project Director with a proven record of delivering large D&B infrastructure programmes? You will lead projects from inception to completion - including metro, aviation, rail, water and highways schemes - apply best‑practice delivery standards, and work with stakeholders across all levels to drive successful outcomes. Join our Project & Programme Management team and help close the gap to a sustainable future.
Your new role
As Project Director you will be accountable for the successful delivery of major, nationally significant D&B infrastructure projects in Ireland. You will lead multi‑disciplinary teams, manage commercial performance and client relationships, and ensure projects meet quality, safety and programme targets.
Your key responsibilities
Deliver large, multi‑disciplinary D&B infrastructure projects to time, cost and quality.
Define project direction, governance and commercial controls; manage contracts and procurement.
Oversee programme and financial performance, including forecasting and risk management.
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Lead and mentor project teams; establish clear roles and responsibilities.
Drive quality, health & safety and sustainability standards across projects.
About you
Significant programme and project delivery experience in senior roles leading complex, major D&B infrastructure programmes.
Demonstrable experience delivering projects from inception to completion, and documenting/applying delivery standards and processes.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead integrated design and delivery teams.
Strong leadership and commercial management skills across project, contract, procurement and financial disciplines.
Excellent planning, governance and delivery capability; able to set priorities and ensure accountability.
Clear communicator with strong stakeholder and client management skills.
Proactive, collaborative, and able to manage multiple technical teams and resolve risks and issues.
Degree in a relevant discipline (engineering, construction, project management) or equivalent experience; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
Chartered membership of a professional body (EI, ICE, APM, IPM, PMI or equivalent).
