In this role, you'll:
Work within our Bus Contracts Team within the Public Transport Branch of the Coordinator General division at Transport for NSW, with a focus on developing, refining and implementing contract management processes for Bus, Light Rail or Ferry services across NSW.
This role will see you actively manage strategic and complex relationships and transactional aspects of contract management, to ensure consistency and to minimise risks to service delivery.
You will lead the delivery of public transport services and the implementation of service improvements in line with NSW Bus Industry Taskforce recommendations, strengthening mode-based accountability for bus, ferry and light rail services.
Your Tertiary qualifications will be in procurement, law, commerce, business or economics and/or include equivalent industry experience in contract management such as service contracts, preferably in a commercial environment.
You’re recognised for your multimodal experience and your ability to build credibility with stakeholders and influence people with exposure to large value contracts in terms of governance and contract administration.
In addition to this, you are someone who can proactively think on your feet and ideally bring Bus multimodal experience to this opportunity.
This is an Award Transport Grade 9 Permanent Full-Time role based in Sydney CBD, with flexibility through hybrid working model!
