We are seeking a Senior Manager – Substrates (Supplier Quality) to join our Global Quality organization. In this role, you will be the global technical and quality authority for substrate materials, working closely with Procurement and Development to ensure robust supplier performance, material quality, and long term technology alignment.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
Act as the global technical and quality expert for substrate materials
Lead the quality strategy and roadmap for substrate-related raw materials and suppliers
Partner with Procurement (PROC) and Development (DEV) as the primary quality counterpart for substrate topics
Serve as a high-level problem solver, driving root cause analysis and resolution of complex material and supplier issues
Drive continuous improvement programs at suppliers to enhance quality, reliability, and performance
Act as the first point of contact for supplier escalations, managing critical quality incidents and coordinating cross-functional responses
Support qualification, audits, and assessments of substrate suppliers and materials
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
University degree in Physics, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field
Proven experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally with a focus on materials, substrates, or related design/processing
Strong understanding of material properties, semiconductor processes, and quality requirements
Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage
Willingness to travel internationally to suppliers and internal sites
