As an Audit & Assurance - Products & Services - Senior Associate, you will focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information to enhance credibility and reliability for various stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will evaluate compliance with regulations, including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, grow your personal brand, and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality work. Embracing increased ambiguity, you will be comfortable when the path forward isn’t clear, using these moments as opportunities to grow.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion. You will use a broad range of tools, methodologies, and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems, while upholding professional and technical standards.

Responsibilities

- Conducting comprehensive audits of financial statements to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement
- Evaluating internal controls and compliance with regulations to enhance governance and risk management processes
- Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations for financial reporting and disclosure
- Utilizing auditing methodologies and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) to assess financial transactions and reporting
- Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored audit solutions
- Applying technical accounting knowledge to review and verify financial documents and disclosures
- Implementing data analysis and interpretation techniques to support audit findings and conclusions
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for clients
- Developing and maintaining client relationships to foster trust and facilitate effective communication
- Mentoring junior team members to enhance their skills and understanding of audit processes

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Chartered Accountant
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
