About the Role

We are looking for a highly proactive and execution-oriented operator to become the strategic partner to Alvaro Calmet, the Creative Director of SolarBalls, helping drive both the day-to-day execution and the long-term growth of the SolarBalls ecosystem.

As SolarBalls continues to expand beyond animated content into new formats, products, and business opportunities, this role will help ensure that ambitious ideas turn into successful initiatives. This person will act as the operational bridge between strategy and execution: creating structure around priorities, coordinating teams, driving initiatives forward, and ensuring that key projects and opportunities continue moving from concept to reality.

This role combines elements of strategic operations, project leadership, and business growth. The ideal candidate is someone who can manage complex initiatives, identify and remove execution bottlenecks, and also contribute to the development of SolarBalls as a broader entertainment brand.

Working closely with Alvaro and key stakeholders across Telos, this person will help protect creative focus while taking ownership of the operational and strategic work required to scale SolarBalls into new areas, including partnerships, licensing, games, consumer products, educational initiatives, and other future opportunities.

What You'll Do

Operational Leadership & Execution

• Act as Alvaro Calmet’s primary operational partner, helping translate creative vision and strategic priorities into clear execution plans.
• Own the coordination and follow-through of high-priority SolarBalls initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and priorities to ensure initiatives move forward consistently.
• Identify bottlenecks, anticipate execution challenges, and proactively drive solutions before they impact delivery.
• Create visibility across ongoing initiatives by maintaining clear tracking of progress, priorities, risks, and next steps.
• Coordinate communication between creative, production, operations, leadership, and external partners to ensure alignment.
• Improve and build systems, workflows, documentation, and processes that allow SolarBalls to scale effectively.

Business Growth & IP Development

• Support the strategic development and expansion of SolarBalls as an entertainment IP beyond its core content.
• Help evaluate, structure, and drive new growth initiatives across areas such as games, licensing, partnerships, consumer products, education, and other potential opportunities.
• Work alongside internal teams and external partners to move new business initiatives from early ideas into execution.
• Support market research, opportunity evaluation, partner coordination, and strategic planning for new SolarBalls ventures.
• Help ensure that business opportunities remain aligned with the creative vision and long-term direction of the brand.
• Bring structure and momentum to initiatives that require cross-functional collaboration and external coordination.

About You

• 5+ years of experience in roles such as Business Operations, Chief of Staff, Project Management, Program Management, Business Development, Operations Leadership, or similar positions.
• Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.
• Strong ability to create structure in ambiguous environments and independently drive initiatives forward.
• Experience acting as a trusted partner to founders, executives, creative leaders, or senior stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills, including prioritization, timeline management, stakeholder coordination, and risk management.
• Business-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, evaluate initiatives, and support strategic growth.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience working in fast-moving startup, media, entertainment, gaming, technology, or creative environments is highly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Spanish fluency is strongly preferred.
• Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Notion, ClickUp, or similar platforms.
