The Logistic Lead is responsible for leading strategic logistics programs and continuous improvement initiatives across International operations. Operating as an individual contributor, this role drives alignment, execution, and performance across international logistics networks by partnering closely with Zone Logistics teams, Zone stakeholders, supply chain functions, and external logistics providers.
The position serves as the central coordination point for logistics transformation, network optimization, service improvement, and operational excellence initiatives across multiple geographies. The incumbent is accountable for identifying and implementing scalable logistics solutions, standardizing best practices, enhancing end-to-end visibility, and ensuring consistent execution across regions while balancing global objectives with local operational requirements.
This role requires strong cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, analytical capability, and the ability to influence without direct authority. Success is achieved through collaboration with Zone Logistics teams to improve logistics performance, optimize costs, strengthen resilience, and elevate customer experience across the international supply chain network.
What will you do?
International Logistics :
Lead and coordinate global logistics programs and strategic initiatives across international operations.
Develop and execute logistics roadmaps aligned with business growth objectives, customer requirements, and supply chain strategies.
Drive implementation of logistics transformation projects across regions, ensuring alignment with global standards and operational priorities.
Establish governance, milestones, performance measures, and implementation plans for key logistics initiatives.
Global Coordination & Zone Engagement
Act as the primary liaison between global supply chain leadership and Zone Logistics teams and cross zone logistics teams.
Partner with regional logistics organizations to identify opportunities, deploy solutions, and accelerate best-practice sharing.
Facilitate alignment across zones on logistics standards, processes, KPIs, and service expectations.
Influence stakeholders and build consensus across multiple functions, regions, and cultures without direct reporting authority.
Logistics Performance & Continuous Improvement
Drive initiatives focused on transportation optimization, distribution performance, project material flow efficiency, and logistics cost reduction.
Monitor global logistics performance through key operational and financial metrics.
Identify systemic issues, root causes, and improvement opportunities across international logistics operations.
Champion continuous improvement methodologies and promote operational excellence across regions.
Logistics Network Optimization
Support the design and optimization of international logistics networks to improve service, resilience, and cost efficiency.
Evaluate transportation models, and logistics operating structures.
Lead assessments of logistics capabilities, processes, and partner performance across regions.
Recommend and implement improvements that strengthen end-to-end supply chain execution.
Risk Management & Business Continuity
Identify logistics risks, supply chain vulnerabilities, and operational constraints impacting international operations.
Partner with Zone and Regional teams to develop mitigation and contingency plans.
Support crisis response and recovery activities related to logistics disruptions, transportation challenges, and capacity constraints.
Analytics, Governance & Reporting
Develop performance dashboards and executive-level reporting for logistics programs and operational performance.
Track project progress, benefit realization, cost savings, and service improvements.
Present recommendations, business cases, and strategic updates to senior leadership.
Ensure transparency, accountability, and effective decision-making through data-driven insights.
What qualifications will make you successful?
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field.
> 12 years in international logistics, supply chain operations, transportation, distribution, or logistics program management.
Demonstrated success leading global or regional logistics initiatives in a matrixed environment.
Strong understanding of international transportation, warehousing, trade flows, and end-to-end supply chain processes.
Experience working across multiple regions and cultures in a global organization.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive results without direct managerial responsibility.
Experience with logistics performance management, network optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
