The Merchandiser is responsible for executing merchandising standards, managing shelf space, and maintaining product displays at off-premise accounts. They also provide support to sales representatives by delivering promotional materials and ensuring accurate inventory rotation.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a clean driving history for at least 5 years. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 lbs.
The Merchandiser is a non-exempt position responsible for working with the sales department to execute merchandising standards. A merchandiser provides support to the assigned route, sales representative, and supervisor to increase visibility and drive sales for Adams Beverages. The Merchandiser reports to the Sales Manager or an Area Sales Manager.
The Merchandiser assumes other responsibilities as assigned by Managers, VPs, General Manager, and ownership. These responsibilities and objectives include but are not limited to:
A Merchandiser with proper development can expect opportunities to move into other roles in the Sales or Operations Departments.

While performing the duties of this job in the office environment, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Exposure while in customer locations cannot be projected. These conditions may vary, and the employee will receive adequate training to recognize and avoid hazards that cannot be described as expected.
